Kaci and I spent Christmas together

Hi, everyone -

Mama, Papa, Kaci, Grammy and I spent Christmas together.  We drove up to New Hampshire last weekend (Dec. 22nd) and spent three full days together.  We even had a white Christmas while we were visiting everyone.  We came back to Connecticut the day after Christmas and just beat the snowstorm that day.  We did not get much - only about an inch but enough to make driving difficult.

Mama also took pictures of us together but we need to download them - they are still in the camera.  However, here are a few pictures you can enjoy until then.

The first is a Christmas puzzle which is part of a kit.  There are cookie cutters, recipe for cookies and a story that is related to the puzzle.  The remaining three are our hanging plants.  These pictures were taken in November and are still alive today.  The last is Hershey doing one of her favorite pastimes, looking out the window.  Enjoy the pictures, everyone.

Mama is getting into the Christmas spirit

Hi, everyone -

Mama is really getting into the Christmas spirit this year.  This has been a hard year for a lot of people even us.  Our family lost three relatives in the space of six months. Add that to the fact that so many people have lost their jobs and are now one income families.  Mama won't be sad when 2012 comes to a close.

A friend of Mama's found these videos on You Tube and wanted to share them with you all.  You may have seen these before.

Also Mama is in the process of putting together a Christmas puzzle.  She is about a quarter of the way done. When she finishes, she will post pictures.

Kaci is here for Thanksgiving

Hi, everyone -

Kaci and Grammy will be spending Thanksgiving with us this year.  Mama and Papa will be traveling to all different parts of Rhode Island.  They are thankful that Rhode Island is such a small state.  Kaci and I will stay home only because the apartment complex where "Auntie" lives allows dogs on one half of the total complex.  Since "Auntie" has a cat she is on the cat side of the complex.  In the meantime here are some pictures from the archive:

The first picture is of Kaci and I playing frisbee in New Hampshire, the second is our version of how we cook on the grill and the third picture is of a HUGE pumpkin at a place called Tully Lake which is somewhere in Massachusetts.  Enjoy the pictures, everyone.

An unusual collection of pictures

Hi everyone -

Here is a collection of pictures from the archive.  The first picture  is  a butterfly that was in our front  yard.  We are not sure which year but it is in the summer.  The next picture is  me (Hershey) standing  in an awful lot of snow during the winter of 2010 - 2011 - brrrr, and the  other three is Mama's Christmas tablecloth which she worked on for many, many years.  She finally finished it this year.  This is one of  the reasons she fell behind in blogging.  We hope you enjoy the pictures everyone.

Today is my 8th birthday and Blogging for Peace

Hi, everyone -

Today is my birthday.  I am eight years old.  Here are some pictures:

The first picture is of me during my first Christmas with my family, the second is me playing with my new duck and the third picture of me is when I was a puppy in February, 2005.  Mama is still trying to figure out uploading the pictures to Blogger since they "streamlined" everything - which means she has to relearn everything all over again.

Blogger is getting on Mama's nerves again

Hi, everyone -

It seems like Blogger is driving Mama crazy.  Since she has major issues with Internet Explorer, she decided to download Google Chrome.   Although she really likes using Google Chrome, it seems like there are issues with Blogger.  She has had difficulty the past two days editing the blog, so she has to use Internet Explorer.  What a pain! 

 

Then she was editing something and Blogger deleted all of Hershey and Kaci's friends on the blog sidebar.  She has put in as many as she can remember, but we are sure that some of our friends are missing.  If she has offended anyone because Blogger refuses to cooperate she apologizes. 

 

We hope everyone is staying safe because of Hurricane Sandy.  So far we have had a LOT of wind and some rain has seeped into the basement.  It's going to be a LONG night.
