Kaci is coming for Thanksgiving

Hi everyone -

Guess what?!? Kaci is coming for Thanksgiving. This Thanksgiving Mama and Papa will be going to Rhode Island. Grammy is coming down and Kaci will probably stay with us because the relatives will be moving. They sold their house and will live somewhere else in town.

We have a lot to be thankful for. We are thankful for all of our blogging buddies. Mama is thankful that she is finally a college graduate and has a good job that she likes.

Mama is also thankful that Bruce is finally free from being kenneled for almost three years because of Breed Specific Legislation but there are other dogs that she is fighting the crusade for. The link below is Bruce today (actually three months ago):

Our visit in New Hampshire

Hi, everyone -

Mama, Papa and I (Hershey) were in New Hampshire last weekend to visit with Kaci and Grammy. We had a nice time at the family picnic. Here are some pictures:

Papa's camera is acting up

Hi, everyone -

Our digital camera is doing "bad" things. Papa sent it to the manufacturer to get it repaired for something under warranty. This is a picture taken before the camera was sent:

Papa said some not so nice things because he has to return the camera to the manufacturer again. Mama is getting frustrated because blogger is being uncooperative as well. We found some pictures that Asta had sent. We will put them in our next post.

Hi, everyone -

We just wanted to thank everyone who left us nice comments when Bailey went to heaven last week. This has not been a good two weeks. We have lost several of our dogster pup pals and my grandma (Mama's mother) passed away seven years ago on June 24th.

We are glad to be a part of DWB.

We are still in LOVE and an important question

We are still in love with our boyfriend, Rocky. He is so adorable.

Mama has an important question to ask fellow bloggers. Mama is seriously considering adopting a brother for me (Hershey). She has never adopted a dog before and was wondering if anyone would be willing to share their experiences.

Hi everyone -

Papa, Grammy, Kaci and I came home last night. Kaci and I are having so much fun wrestling and trying to out run each other. This is a surprise - please don't tell Grammy - but Kaci and I are both getting our "new summer haircuts" tomorrow. We are both pretty fuzzy right now so we will look like completely different dogs.

We haven't forgotten about our presents. Mama is planning on us opening them tonight. Have a good weekend everyone.

National Stuffie Appreciation Day

Hi everyone -

Mama is a little late posting for National Stuffie Appreciation Day because she started school again so here is our version of how we play with our stuffies:

The first picture is Kaci "appreciating" Pippi Longstocking; the second is Hershey "appreciating" Mousie while borrowing Kaci's lion; the third picture is Hershey appreciating her ducky (which has since gone to ducky heaven) there is also Green Legs with no legs and arms anymore; the fourth is Hershey really appreciating ducky with Lobster at her side; the fifth is Hershey not appreciating ducky because she wants to take it outside; the sixth is Kaci having fun with her new duck; the seventh is Kaci "appreciating" her crab while Hershey is not sure what to do with her crab and the last is Hershey and Kaci appreciating each other after a day of "playing."

Mama is one step closer to getting her Associate's degree

Hi, everyone -

My (Hershey's) Mama is one step closer to getting her Associate's degree. She has been going to school on line for the past two years (almost as long as I have lived with her and Papa). I am really proud of her and so is the rest of the family.

Even though this takes up a lot of her time - in addition to working full time she makes time for me by taking me for walks and loving me. Papa takes care of me when Mama is doing homework.

She will get her diploma on Sunday, April 20th. Then she will go for her Bachelor's degree in about two weeks (which will take another two years).

Hi, everyone -

We finally have a picture with helmets to help Hammer and his family find Beau to bring him home. I (Hershey) think I look pretty silly but Kaci looks good. Thanks to Hammer and his family for being such good blogging buddies.

There is still lots of snow

Hi, new friends and pup pals -

I (Hershey) just got back from New Hampshire with Papa. I was happy to see Mama but I was having so much fun outrunning Kaci that I didn't get much sleep (or as Asta says sneep). There was so much snow on the ground I wasn't sure if there was any grass or dirt. (Dirt is one of my favorite things to eat but Mama thinks that's disgusting). Here is the first picture:

As all of you can see there is still a lot of snow in New Hampshire. However, Butchy and Snickers may think that there is more snow on the ground in Iowa. Mama is not sure but both states have way too much snow. All this snow may last until June - Mama is glad there is no snow on the ground in Connecticut!

This trip is so boring compared to Asta's travels!
