Grandpa's 80th Birthday and My New Haircut

Last Saturday (Dec. 11th) was my Grandpa's 80th Birthday. Grandpa is Mama's father. Here are some pictures and videos of the birthday party and my new haircut:

The trip to New Hampshire

Hi, everyone -

Papa finally downloaded the pictures of our trip to New Hampshire. Papa and I got to visit with Kaci and Abby (my uncle's dog). She is the eldest dog in the family - 14 years old. Here are some pictures:

Lady and Scooby's wedding

Hi, everyone -

Do you remember how sad Kaci and I were that we couldn't go to Myrna and Gilbert's wedding and that Rocky was sick before the wedding? We were able to go to Lady and Scooby's wedding and we met Rocky there. Here is a picture of us at the wedding:

I am going to see Kaci this weekend

Hi everyone -

Guess what?!? I am going to visit Kaci this weekend. We are going to have a BBQ all weekend. Mama and I will have limited access to the internet.

We also hope that Asta does not mind if we copied the dogstar to this post. It rained tonight and it is still raining. So we will have to send our power of the paw and prayers for Jackson, Charlotte and Phoenix to the dogstar picture.

I settled deeper in the cushions as the sherry began to send warm tendrils through my system. This was a happily familiar situation, listening to Mrs. Pumphrey's recitals of Tricki Woo's activities. She was a kind, highly intelligent, and cultivated lady, admired by all and a benefactress to innumerable charities. She sat on committees and her opinion was sought on many important matters, but where her dog was concerned her conversation never touched on weighty topics, but was filled with strange and wondrous things. Hershey is going to visit Kaci

Hi, everyone -

Guess what? I (Hershey) am going to visit Kaci with Papa next week! I think Papa is going to surprise Grammy (his Mama) because it will be her 81st birthday. But it's supposed to be a surprise and a secret so we can't let Kaci know. She will tell her Mama and spoil the surprise! Kaci keeps telling Papa, Mama and I how much snow there is on the ground. Since I am going I will see how much there is for myself!

My first trip to Connecticut, Kaci's trip to New Hampshire

Hi, everyone -

Maya and Kena were so nice to post something in their blog about our new blog. I (Hershey) was born in Maine and moved to Connecticut when I was eight weeks old.

Kaci, however, was born in Iowa and made the trip to Connecticut. Tom (Papa) and Dianne (Mama) found Kaci in the local pet store. After spending New Year's Day in New Hampshire in 2005, Tom's mother said she missed having a miniature schnauzer in the house. She wanted to give a miniature schnauzer puppy a home.

Approximately a month and a half after spending New Year's Day in New Hampshire, Papa went to the local pet store where he met Kaci for the first time. The idea came to him to buy her for his mother as a surprise since she missed having a dog in the house. Papa asked Mama if she wanted to see the puppy. Of course the answer was yes! At the time Papa and Mama had another miniature schnauzer who at that time was 14 years old. She was the only dog in their house so Papa and Mama felt it would not be fair for Bosco to share her house with a puppy at that stage in her life. If Bosco were a little younger Kaci's permanent home would also have been in Connecticut. However, Bosco and Kaci got to know each other for a little over a year before Bosco made her trip to "schnauzer paradise."

Our first entry

Hi, everyone -

I was able to convince my Mama to start a blog for Kaci and I. We are going to have so much fun getting to know other dogs all over the world. The picture of the two of us is in New Hampshire at Christmas. There was a lot of snow on the ground then.
