Mama found this link to another great story. A woman who has terminal cancer had her dog stolen in New York. The dog was found in a shelter in Rhode Island and reunited with his owner in New York.

I totally agree it was your pappa's fault...that why you ran to the neighbors..or atleast that is the story I would stick with...maybe you just like to visit the neighbors. Just be sure and don't go in the street cuz I would be so sad if something happened to you.

Gosh, I forgot you asked about Gizmo...He is doing okay for now. His mouth is draining all the time and mum has to watch him every night, but he still eats and drinks and doesn't act like he is hurting anywhere.
