Does anyone remember this picture from last year?

A bird eye's view of Fort Griswold

Mama climbed the monument at Fort Griswold twice last weekend. The first time was Saturday and the second time was on Memorial Day.

The two pictures were taken last year. The first picture is inside the monument (166 steps to the top) and the second is one of many views of the fort from the monument. The top of the picture is New London (the town across the river from us) and if you enlarge the picture you can see General Dynamics on the left (a green building) where submarines have been launched. Mama says that my Grandpa (her father) worked there for almost 30 years. He is now retired for almost 20 years. We hope everyone had an awesome Memorial Day weekend.
